I’m Devin Brye,

I’m sure you’re wondering how I got started and ultimately how I got to where I am now! 

Well, you can say I got it honest… Like most young girls, I spent a lot of time playing in my mom’s makeup and hair products. She would always do my hair and makeup for all of my dance recitals and that’s where my interest for makeup was first born. 

When I was 17 I entered my first pageant, Miss Charlotte Teen USA. This eventually led me to Miss North Carolina Teen USA and later on that year I competed at my first national pageant, Miss Teen United States World. 

Before this, I had always done my own hair and makeup for pageants and cheer competitions. This was the first time I had been backstage with a team of hair and makeup artists. This was where my interest grew to love. The whole experience was so fun and I couldn’t believe that these artists actually got to do this as their job! 

Fast forward years later… I was in college and completely confused on what in the world I was going to do after graduation. So naturally I decided to take a year off and try out for the Charlotte Hornets NBA dance team, the Honeybees. Surprise, I made it!!!  As if I didn’t already have enough on my plate, I decided to compete at Miss North Carolina USA. I got 3rd runner up that year!

Flash forward to 2016, I competed at Miss USA, graduated from High Point University, and cheered my final season for the Hornets. What in the world am I going to do now??? 

Be a makeup artist, duh!! 

LOL Nope. I mean, I did work as a hair and makeup artist… but I also got a corporate job, a boutique job, a few modeling gigs, promo work, and a few retail positions. I always had a few jobs at once. I had hair and makeup work on the weekends and everything else in between. I just thought I was being a “boss babe” or “hustling” but in reality I was just avoiding taking that leap of faith and going after my dream head on. 

So that brings us here. 

I love making women feel beautiful and confident. Whether that be on a stage, at a photoshoot, prom, date night, or on your wedding day! My specialty is natural, everyday glam. I want you to feel like the most beautiful YOU!

I am here hustling for not only myself but for YOU! My goal is to make you feel special on your special day!
